REGISTRATION DATES
Tuesday, July 24th- Friday, July 27th from 8 a.m until 3 p.m
Saturday, July 28th from 8 a.m. until 12 noon
Monday, July 30th from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m.
As of May 2006, the Winona School Board declared that all parents with students attending school in the Winona School District must present verification of residence yearly before students will be allowed to enter school for the upcoming school year. This verification of residence must be two (2) of the following:
A light bill dated no earlier than June 2007
A gas bill dated no earlier than June 2007
A City of Winona water bill dated no earlier than June 2007
A cable bill dated no earlier than June 2007
A 2006 tax receipt showing taxes to the Winona School District
A rent receipt no earlier than June 2007
A current lease agreement
All families living outside the school district and who are paying tuition must also furnish proof of residency in order to verify and update residency information.
No student will be permitted to begin school or ride a school bus until all required documentation is received and verified.
This request for documentation if all students, no only those who may be new students. The school district has not required a documentation update for several years, and Mississippi law requires that the school maintain current residency documentation.
