What Courses are offered at WSS and what does my child need to graduate from high school?

Graduation requirements for the Winona School District can be obtained from the counselor or viewed on the Winona School District website at www.winonaschools.net. All Winona School District students are required to wear uniforms listed in a standardized dress code manual which can be obtained from either school or the district office. The first bell at WSS rings at 7:35 a.m. and students are dismissed at 3:15 p.m. WSS operates on an 8-period day with 48-minute class periods.Back to TopHow do I renroll a new student or find out my child's schedule?
Our guidance office enrolls new students and handles all student scheduling. Our High School counselor serving grades 9-12 is Mrs. Tracy Carter at 662-283-1027 and our Junior High counselor serving grades 7-8 is Mrs. Julia Beckwith at 662-283-1006.Back to TopHow and when can I schedule a conference with my child's teacher?
Teachers are available during their conference and planning periods. Please call 662-283-1244 to find out the time your child's teacher is available to schedule a conference. Back to TopYes, Prior approval must be obtained from the instructor and the vocational director. This work must be scheduled in advance so that the instructor can schedule the work into his/her instructional plans. The work will be performed by students under the supervision of the instructor.
Do you charge a fee for work performed in the Vocational Center?
Back to TopNo, Donations are gladly accepted. These funds are deposited into the student clubs for field trips and competitions.

How do I find out what bus my child rides?
